Caesarstone, the industry leader in premium surface design since 1987, is delighted to announce its presence at the new Material Source Studio in Glasgow, Scotland. A space dedicated to supporting Scotland’s architects and designers, the new environment allows industry professionals to view and take away samples, attend events and invite opportunities for collaboration and socialising with like-minded creatives.
Caesarstone is delighted to be exhibiting a selection of its inspiring and dynamic designs to the new studio environment, displaying samples, swatches, and brochures. Having pioneered the quartz industry over three decades ago, the new display exhibits the brand’s premium design credentials, creativity, and innovation in the market.
The vibrant Material Source kitchen displays Caesarstone’s 5820 Darcrest design. Featuring a dark earthy base, enriched by tiny spots and sediments with a veil of organic ochres and brownish greens like erosion on a rocky hillside, Caesarstone’s 5820 Darcrest brings a dramatic and organic feel to the kitchen space. Capturing the essence of natural elements in every slab, Caesarstone’s designs replicate intricate patterns found in traditional stone, bringing the outdoors inside.
“Caesarstone is thrilled to bring its expertise and showcase its core collections at the new Material Source Glasgow Studio. It is an exciting move for the business, allowing us to increase our presence in the Scottish market”, explains Edward Smith, MD of Caesarstone UK and ROI. “The studio is a beautiful space for interior designers and architects to explore our range and learn more about what we have to offer. It is also wonderful for Caesarstone to be seen alongside such well-regarded design brands in the industry.”
Material Source chose Glasgow, Scotland, as the destination for its second site in direct response to ongoing conversations with the region’s architecture, design and property community.
“The most exciting thing for us is that it’s clear from the conversations we’ve had there is a real appetite amongst Scotland’s architecture and design community for what we do”, comments Darren Clanford, co-founder and creative director, Material Source. “We’ve always said that the real magic happens when you bring people together, and the Material Source Studio concept only works when this is the case. And so, to see the excitement around Material Source Studio Scotland already starting to build, we couldn’t be more grateful and driven to offering you – the community – a useful, beautiful space that can be whatever you want it to be.”
The new Material Source studio in Glasgow opened its doors in October 2023.
