Caesarstone introduces the Pebbles Collection

Pioneering surface brand Caesarstone has today announced the launch of its latest collection of quartz surfaces, inspired by tumbled pebbles commonly associated with nature’s streams, rivers, and oceans. Addressing the desire for a different approach to veined work surfaces, the aptly named Pebbles Collection draws on the experience and kudos of Caesarstone’s in-house design team – to introduce a stunning series of brand-new quartz surfaces that have been shaped by nature.

At the heart of the collection lies the humble pebble; slowly smoothed over time in rivers and oceans, it is special and distinct. Each one symbolises many sensations and meanings, from shaping ancient tools to creating the spiritual serenity of a rock garden. The latest collection from Caesarstone embodies this same sense of calm and serenity the pebble symbolises, carrying a feeling of tranquillity into homes across the UK.

The Pebbles Collection represents the larger essence of these small stones, capturing the memory of the movement of earth. Crafted into a range of organic designs celebrating never-ending transformation while nurturing comfort and calm, the sustainable surfaces now feature a dynamic palette of warm, grey monochromes. Softer hues lace the distinctive textures inspired by the everlasting path of the pebble, bringing the blessings of sunlight and rain into the heart of your home.

Caesarstone’s quartz combines nature with technology to produce stone surfaces that are durable, flexible, scratch resistant and beautifully sophisticated. Caesarstone’s in-house design team is headed up by Mor Krisher at the brand’s global headquarters, in S’dot Yam, Israel.

Caesarstone’s latest collection draws on the notion of the simple pebble, reflecting the warm greys and enhanced textures influencing interiors today. All collections are years in development, to ensure beautiful and carefully considered surfaces which are incredibly impenetrable, dense, and resilient for long-lasting quality. Mor has long turned to nature for inspiration and his designs can echo anything from a constellation in the night sky, to other natural materials such as slate and marble.

“A pebble is a symbol of constant creation. Shaped by the ceaseless force of the wind and flow of water, every pebble is one of a kind, and we’re excited to see this reflected in our quartz surfaces,” says Caesarstone’s Head of Design, Mor Krisher. “Designing a collection of worksurfaces which are reminiscent of tranquil and quiet pockets of nature was an invigorating process. The fact that these surfaces can be enjoyed in a plethora of kitchen styles further adds to the joy of this collection”.

The collection comprises five new surfaces: 1001 Riverlet, a gentle off-white with discrete brown capillaries reminiscent of beach pebbles from the shore; 1002 Wyndigo, featuring warm earth gradients and foam grey capillaries across its ‘greige’ base, with a honed, matte finish; 1003 Raindream, a slate grey created from two close monotones, with dark grey capillary streaks finely outlining its lighter tones; 1004 Stoneburst, composed of two shades of sage grey, to perfectly complement pistachio coloured kitchens; and 1006 Agger Grey, characterised by a warm, grey smoky base with clay undertones, making it a versatile surface suited to anything from urban kitchens to country houses.

Reminiscent of the peaceful elements of nature, the Pebbles Collection boasts an understated and unassuming look. This diverse new range is versatile enough to suit a wide range of kitchen styles, pastel tones or greys, and brass or wooden finishes.

The Pebbles Collection has been developed to meet Caesarstone’s recent environmental pledge, which looks at how the design brand can best protect nature and the environment in the production of its quartz surfaces. In-keeping with acknowledging health & safety regulations, social responsibility, environmentally responsible production, and sustainable products, the creation of Pebbles has been meticulously and carefully considered.

By working closely with its suppliers, Caesarstone ensures the materials used in the production of its quartz surfaces are of the upmost quality – thus adding to the long-lasting and sustainable nature of its surfaces. In fact, Caesarstone’s efforts have already yielded results, as demonstrated by a 50% reduction in the use of certain materials during the manufacturing process. Furthermore, by 2025, the company intends to reduce energy use by 10%; recycle water and reduce its use by approximately 10%; and reduce air pollution levels by 5%. These factors, combined with the intriguing design story behind the Pebbles Collection, highlight the importance of nature and its ability to inspire our homes and interior choices.

“We are pleased to introduce the Pebbles Collection to Caesarstone’s already expansive portfolio of surfaces,” said Amir Reske, MD of UK and EMEA. “Being able to offer additional worksurfaces which are competitively priced whilst maintaining the master craftsmanship of our worksurfaces is imperative to us. This collection of surfaces is suited to a wide variety of kitchens, meaning consumers can build and design timeless kitchens.”

The Pebbles collection will be available from 6th March 2022, priced from around £300 per sq metre. For further information on the range, as well as details on how to order samples, contact [email protected]
