When Halcyon Interiors created a stunning display in their new Beaconsfield showroom, they specified Caesarstone Shitake 4230 as the surface of choice.
After its introduction to the Caesarstone range in 2012, Shitake has proved to be a popular choice among retailers, kitchen designers and consumers alike. Its soft, earthy tones offer warmth and exude class to any kitchen. It complements the beautiful showroom which features sumptuous cream cupboards, balancing the modern look with traditional values, such as exposed wooden beams on the ceiling and design-led interior furnishings.

Graham Robinson, Showroom Manager at Alno's flagship showroom in Wigmore Street, who helped design the Beaconsfield Showroom, commented, “When we were creating the showroom, we turned to Caesarstone as their range of quartz surfaces are perfect for the kitchen environment. Not only do they beautiful aesthetics, they have the tough, durable qualities that Caesarstone has become renowned for. We have featured Caesarstone in a number of our showrooms now.”
The surfaces at Halcyon Interiors were installed and fabricated by Prima Granite, Stone Worktop Specialists.
Durable, yet beautiful
Caesarstone is a beautifully engineered quartz stone which comprises approximately 93% natural quartz. Practical, durable, and attractive, it has significant advantages over natural stone and other surfacing materials due to its superior strength and quality. These include:
• 4X flexural strength*
• Scratch resistant
• High stain resistance
• No need to seal or wax
• Non-porous
• 2X impact resistance*
(*compared to granite, while outperforming marble)
The quartz surfaces never need sealing and require minimal maintenance to keep them looking like new. The hard, non-penetrable surface makes cleaning simple and in most cases, soap and water or a mild detergent are all that are required to maintain its lustre.
